1/1/2012 — Past 48 hours in earthquakes — Global overview — prone areas BE PREPARED

The past 48 hours in earthquakes.. starting on December 30 2011 — up until this point — 730pm CST 1/1/2012 .

watch the video here:

————————————————–

Below are several screenshots of the recent worldwide activity .

First, the Japan 7.0 magnitude quakes — which happened last night on new years (literally around midnight US time).

(below is the official USGS feed which only listed one event)

(December 31 – Jan 1) also gave us a 4.3 magnitude (later downgraded to a 4.0) @ an Ohio Fracking operation.

Move forward to today — 1/1/2012 — and we see a series of 4.0 and 5.0+ magnitude earthquakes occurring in succession around the western ring of fire.. spilling over into Europe as of a few minute ago – 725pm CST 1/1/2012 – a 4.6 magnitude struck Romania.

Below is a view of the past 48 hours in earthquakes greater than a 4.0 around the pacific ring of fire:

Notice the “spillover effect” that is occurring off the pacific plate.. extending across India , and the middle east — with the latest quake in Romania (central east Europe).

The stage is set in Europe for further movement anywhere from the Azores and Canaries all the way north east through Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, and Poland.

South Europe.. watch south Italy into the Mediterranean Sea.. east towards Israel.

12/29/2011 — Ohio 2.5 magnitude earthquake — MAN MADE — location: “quarry”

Watch the video here:

=================================

Screenshot from google earth shows the earthquake epicenter (given by the USGS) and the obvious quarry a few hundred feet away .. less than 1/3 of a mile..  ‘Salt Springs’ quarry…

Screenshot below of the December 24, 2011 — Youngstown Ohio — 2.5 magnitude earthquake (shown on Earthquake 3D):

Don’t know how this one slipped under the “radar” .. no pun intended :^)

Here are the official statistics on the earthquake.. Notice the depth ! Be sure to look up the epicenter.

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Quakes/ld60013703.php

Earthquake Details

  • This event has been reviewed by a seismologist.
Magnitude 2.5
Date-Time
Location 41.123°N, 80.705°W
Depth 5 km (3.1 miles) (poorly constrained)
Region YOUNGSTOWN-WARREN URBAN AREA, OHIO

The depth of the quake, and the satellite PROOF of what populates the epicenter, tell the tale of YET ANOTHER earthquake at a man made earth penetration facility… (locations where deep shafts have been dug into the edge of the “craton”).

Add this earthquake to the list of other mines/quarries/fracking/drilling/nuclear sites which have had earthquakes occur in the past few months — All along the edge of the “north american craton” . Induced Seismic acitivy (man made) or it is the pressure on the plate from the pacific causing earthquakes at the weaker drilling/penetration sites?
