At this point we should be raising our eyebrows a bit!
In 1 hours time three different dormant volcanoes on the West coast showed earthquake activity in the magnitude 3.0 range.
Mount Hood Volcano, Glacier Peak Volcano, and now the Markagunt Volcanic plateau located in Utah all saw near simultaneous earthquake activity.

________
As I said in the previous two posts made over the past hour, this dormant volcanic earthquake activity is a sign of greater seismic pressure building in the area.
The greater pressure means there is an increased threat of a larger earthquake in the region. The amount of pressure it would take to displace the ENTIRE West coast from Washington state to South Central Utah is tremendous.
Not much chance of a large eruption, but we can’t rule out this possibility 100%. That being said, I am leaning very far towards the threat of a larger earthquake in the near term.

We need to be extra vigilant in the light of the other news from 2 weeks ago , that a new undersea VOLCANIC ERUPTION is currently taking place off the West coast of Oregon.
The new eruption is taking place due West of this new earthquake near Mount Hood volcano.
On May 1, 2015 it was announced that a new layer of lava was laid out across the sea floor off the coast of Oregon. The lava came from a fresh eruption along the Juan De Fuca / Gorda Escarpment / Axial Seamount.

With an ACTIVE volcanic eruption just a small distance away from Mount Hood, and with dormant volcanoes showing earthquake activity further down the West coast in California, we need to watch for further noteworthy earthquake development in this region of the Pacific Northwest.
Keep watch in the areas warned 4 days ago (warned in the Earthquake forecast). The area near Vancouver Island British Columbia is expected to show higher earthquake activity in the next few days.
