An extremely rare earthquake has struck Western Missouri , Southeast of Kansas City directly inside a town by the name of Clinton, MO.
Upon inspection of the area, no visible drilling, oil, or gas operations appear to be present. However, after doing some sleuthing, upon a search of records for the area, the epicenter of this earthquake is very close to an ABANDONED well drill site.
Unfortunately, the actual earthquake epicenter is a GRAVEYARD.
As it turns out, a nearby well was drilled (and subsequently capped / abandoned) in 1939.

Also, there was an additional 4.0 magnitude (3.7 revised) on the New Madrid Seismic Zone in SouthEAST Missouri earlier this week.
I issued an earthquake forecast on April 2, 2015 — covering the midwest movement , and where to watch for activity over the coming days. Watch the video update here:
New Madrid shows movement, now West Missouri is hit as well.
In addition to the Missouri activity, we’re seeing Oklahoma and Texas show excessive activity over the past week. All this movement leads me to tell my mid-west and East coast viewers to be on watch for the next 3-4 days.
Have an earthquake plan, and be prepared, just in case. This includes me here in St. Louis Missouri 🙁
