It appears things are starting to spiral out of control in the Central midwest.
In the past 48 hours, we’ve seen FOUR earthquakes in the 4.0M range, and multiple upper 3.0M events.
All of the events today (in the midwest) have occurred at fracking operations.
This most recent 3.8 magnitude is no exception – screenshot of the nearest frack wells shows the nearest wells just a few hundred to few thousand feet away.

Particularly troubling to see this much movement occurring in such a short amount of time. These three earthquake (2 different 4.0M in Oklahoma + 3.9M in Kansas) all happened in less than 12 hours from one another.
Recently, professionals have said that there is a large increase in the chances of a greater than 6.0 magnitude earthquake to strike the region.
The large earthquake threat is due to “reactivated” fault zones which have not seen movement in millions of years. The fault zones across Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, and Southern Colorado have been fractured due to excessive drilling, following by high pressure injection of fluids into the faults themselves.
Oklahoma located at the center of the activity, now the areas adjacent to Oklahoma are starting to see seismic activity on a much greater level.
Kansas, not normally earthquake prone, has seen several noteworthy earthquakes recently. Just a few months ago Kansas experienced one of its largest earthquakes in state history…. a 4.8 magnitude.
