2/17/2017 — Nightly Earthquake Update + Forecast — Dominican Republic + Ecuador hit as expected

As expected , per the earthquake forecast issued for this week, a M4.6 earthquake has struck Dominican Republic, and an additional M4.8 has struck Peru near the Ecuador border.

Also, worthy of note, if you watch the video below you will see (at about 19min) a brief segment about Hawaii.

Today, a slightly more rare M4.5 earthquake struck the big island of Hawaii.

We don’t normally cover Hawaii unless something is going on with volcanic activity … last night a strange volcanic eruption was populated on our volcano feed, but no information was available.  Ironically the volcano report was nearby Hawaii.
